Do you already have someone in mind? Are you new to the area and don’t really know who to trust? Here are some options to choose a plumber.

Personal Recommendations

One of the best ways to find the plumber to fix your issue is by asking your friends and family. You know at least one of them had some type of problem and needed a plumber.  You can ask who they called, how the service was, and if they would recommend them to you. If they don’t know, then maybe they know one of their friends that needed one and can pass that name along to you.

Online Reviews

Another option is by doing a search for local plumbers on a review site like Yelp® or Google. You can see who is in your area. You can also see the number of reviews they have received and look at their ratings. There are lists as well like Angie’s List and Home Advisor® which can also offer suggestions. Each of these choices comes with their own criteria for listing and is reviewed by different types of people. Make sure you understand who can review businesses and what their protocol is for reviews.
